SDLRLA Judiciary Reception: An Event Website Honoring San Diego’s Judges

Now in its seventeenth year, the Judiciary Reception is one of the most prestigious evenings on the San Diego legal calendar, drawing hundreds of attorneys and dozens of judges. The event needed a website that matched that stature: elegant enough to honor the judiciary, and practical enough to sell sponsorships to firms and organizations.

The Association also wanted a place to tell the story of each year’s honorees, preserve the history of past receptions and share the evening’s photos afterward, turning a one-night event into a lasting record.

The X Concept built a dedicated, polished event website for the Judiciary Reception.

• Cinematic first impression: A looping hero video and custom Judiciary Reception branding, with separate desktop and mobile header art so the design looks right on every screen.
• Honoree profiles: Dedicated content for each year’s judicial honoree and the Service to the Bench and Community Award recipient, including a standalone honoree page.
• The evening, explained: Clear sections on the program, from the formal dinner and awards to live mariachi music and Ballet Folklórico.
• Sponsorship sales: A pricing table covering Title, Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorships, event underwriting, photo booth, program ads and venue branding, plus a downloadable sponsorship package.
• Online sponsorship form: A multi-field form so sponsors can commit directly from the site.
• Sponsor and advertiser recognition: Tiered logo sections that showcase every firm and organization that supports the evening.
• Living archive: Downloadable program booklets from past receptions and a full gallery of event photos, alongside links to the Association’s main site and event videos.
• Technical foundation: Responsive WordPress build with Google Site Kit connecting Analytics and Search Console.
