I map the pages, features and content, then send a plain-language plan with an hourly estimate. Nothing starts until you approve it.

Design and build
A custom WordPress theme built by hand, with your content, SEO and analytics in place. You review it on a private preview link as it comes together.

I move the site live, set up redirects from old addresses so you keep your Google rankings, and check speed, forms and tracking.

WordPress development: common questions
How much does a WordPress website cost?
It depends on the number of pages and features, because the work is billed by the hour. A simple website typically takes 10 to 15 hours. You get a written estimate before anything starts, and you only pay for the hours actually worked.
How long does it take to build a website?
A simple site can launch within a couple of weeks once the content is ready. Larger sites with custom features, e-commerce or migrations take longer; the estimate includes a realistic timeline.
Do you use page builders like Elementor or Divi?
No. Every site gets a custom theme built by hand. That keeps it fast, secure and easy to maintain, and you edit your content in simple, clearly labeled fields instead of a drag-and-drop builder.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. Text, images, team members, case studies and blog posts are all editable from the WordPress dashboard, and you get a short training video. When you would rather not, I can make the changes for you.
Can you redesign my existing WordPress site without losing my Google rankings?
Yes. Before launch I map every old address to its new page with 301 redirects, keep your titles and descriptions, and check Search Console afterward so your rankings carry over.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain, hosting, code, content and all logins are in your name. There is no lock-in and no proprietary platform.
Do you work with clients outside San Diego?
Yes. Clients are nationwide, and projects run by phone, video call and email.
Who will actually build my website?
I will. The X Concept is run by me, Charles Oreve, and every website is planned, built and supported by me personally, with no outsourcing or subcontractors.
