The challenge

North Shore Design, a Maui design firm led by Pierre Noireaux, had grown its web presence through several versions of its website, but the 2016 version, built on WordPress, had begun to show its age. After four years of theme updates, the homepage text was hard to read over the hero photo, and the headings did little for SEO. The About Us visual appeared to float in the middle of the page on a 13″ laptop, the testimonials and content marketing sections didn’t use the available space well, and the site needed stronger security, compliance, and performance. The company also wanted to reach a B2B audience, which its B2C social media presence wasn’t serving.

What we did

In February 2020, The X Concept rebuilt the site on the same WordPress CMS with a new theme and updated plugins, keeping the original content and the SEO value built up over the years. The new photo-based interface adds social media links and calls to action on the first screen, a better-proportioned About section, and a new Services section describing everything the company offers. Testimonials and news sections fill the space more effectively, and project galleries are more visual. Files were upgraded for compliance, security, and performance, and the site runs on shared hosting, which delivers fast load times without the added monthly cost of premium hosting. The X Concept also launched a LinkedIn page for B2B marketing, set up automatic publishing of content marketing posts to Facebook and LinkedIn, and helped the company grow its audience through curated searches by industry, position, and location.

What the client said

★★★★★

I have been working with The X Concept over the span of the past 15 years regarding all my website and digital marketing activities. I have been very pleased with their services. I would definitely recommend them as your one stop source for marketing needs.
