The challenge

Ingress needed a website that reflected its brand, showcased live property listings, and could be found in search. Owner Susan Banks also wanted the freedom to build and manage her own pages without depending on a developer for every update, while still meeting SEO best practices on every page.

What we did

The X Concept worked side by side with business owner Susan Banks in four phases, giving her a platform she could build on herself and then making sure everything she built was search-ready.

1. Custom WordPress Theme & Page Template

We collaborated with Susan to design and develop a custom WordPress theme for Ingress Firm, plus a reusable page template. The template gives every new page consistent branding, layout, and heading structure, so Susan can publish confidently on her own.

2. Showcase IDX Integration

We installed and configured Showcase IDX so visitors can search MLS listings directly on ingressfirm.com. Keeping listings on the brokerage’s own domain keeps buyer traffic, lead capture, and search value with Ingress.

3. SEO Compliance With Yoast: 30 Green Lights

After Susan developed her pages, we audited and optimized each one in Yoast SEO: focus keyphrases, SEO titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, internal linking, and image alt text. All 30 pages reached Yoast green-light status.

4. Google Search Console & Analytics via Site Kit

We connected Google Search Console and Google Analytics through Google Site Kit, verifying the site with Google and putting search and traffic data directly in the WordPress dashboard.
