Wallace Inn of Court

The challenge

The Honorable J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court, established in 2004, brings together members of the bench and bar in San Diego County to promote excellence, professionalism and ethics in advocacy. Its members include Masters (judges or litigators with over 15 years of experience), Barristers (up to 15 years), Associates (up to 5 years) and students from San Diego’s three law schools, organized into mixed-experience pupilage teams that present programs on legal topics.

The Inn wanted a stronger online presence that reflected its prestige and supported its mission: a place to share its history and leadership, promote programs, accept membership applications and give members easy access to resources.

What we did

Strategy and discovery

We consulted the Inn’s leadership on goals, analyzed the needs of current and prospective members, and reviewed existing materials to decide what to keep and improve.

Design

• A clean, sophisticated layout with a cohesive color scheme and typography
• A responsive design for desktops through smartphones
• Streamlined menus and clear calls to action

Content

We presented the Inn’s history and milestones, profiles of the judges and legal professionals who lead it, and highlights of past and upcoming programs.
