Alpha Omega Investigations

The challenge

Alpha Omega Investigations, led by Sean Davidson, is a team of seasoned special investigators who give personal injury law firms across San Diego and Southern California litigation-grade, court-ready support from an office at 755 Front Street in downtown San Diego’s legal district. The quality of the work was high, but the firm’s digital presence did not reflect it.

The firm doesn’t sell to consumers. Its clients are attorneys: busy professionals who evaluate a vendor quickly and have other vendors they could call. The website had to show expertise, a clear process and trustworthiness within seconds. It also had to present a wide range of services in a clear structure instead of a wall of text:

  • Skip traces
  • EDR downloads and vehicle inspections
  • Background investigations
  • Scene reconstruction
  • Witness interviews and statements
  • DMV and process services
  • Records retrieval
  • Travel and field mobility support

What we did

Every decision started from one question: what does a law firm partner need to feel confident the moment they land on the site?

Information architecture first

Before any design work, we mapped the site around the attorney’s decision-making journey. Six navigation pillars (Home, Process, Services, Why Investigate, FAQ and Contact) each match a stage of evaluation, so a visitor can go from introduction to operational detail to a scheduling call without friction. Services became its own section with nine sub-pages, one per investigative offering. This gives attorneys the detail they need to judge scope and gives search engines the structure to surface the firm for specific queries.

WordPress, chosen deliberately

We built alphaomegainv.com on WordPress so the team can update case content, add team members and manage the blog and FAQ without a developer. We added security hardening and a performance stack on top.

Design: authority without intimidation

We avoided both sterile corporate grey and a dramatic thriller-style look. Instead we used a disciplined navy-and-white palette, a clean type hierarchy, purposeful imagery of real locations and fieldwork, and a compact AO monogram. The homepage opens with a full-width background video that signals operational activity. Below it, three value pillars each pair an image with concise copy:

  • Specialized expertise in California personal injury law and litigation requirements
  • Rigorous investigation protocols that deliver reliable, court-ready evidence
  • A client-centric approach with clear communication and strategic execution

A process page that builds confidence

We presented the firm’s seven-step engagement process as a clean step-by-step layout so it reads as reassuring, not bureaucratic. The steps are contact, scope, assignment of a dedicated Special Investigator, investigation, delivery of a confidential findings memo, review, and billing only after case closure, with no retainer required.

Lead generation

  • A Calendly integration offering a free 30-minute consultation as the primary call to action throughout the site
  • Contact forms on the homepage and the dedicated contact page for attorneys who prefer to send a detailed inquiry
  • A Stripe payment link in the header, so existing clients can pay without a phone call, which also signals operational maturity to new prospects

Team profiles

Sean Davidson, Scott Christensen and Karla Williams each have a dedicated profile page with its own URL, bio and contact pathway. In a relationship-driven industry, attorneys want to know who will handle their cases.

SEO and technical foundation

  • Meta titles and descriptions targeting San Diego personal injury investigation keywords
  • Open Graph and Twitter Card metadata for social sharing
  • Canonical URL configuration and a clean permalink structure across all service sub-pages
  • A keyword-rich FAQ section suited to search engines and AI-generated answers
  • Google Site Kit analytics and a fully optimized mobile experience
