The challenge

Get Your Dream Job (GetYourDreamJob.net) is the online home of The Dream Job Blueprint, founder Wasim’s 8-week career coaching program that helps professionals land six-figure roles through personal branding, strategic networking and interview preparation.

The site began as a single GoHighLevel (GHL) landing page. It converted well, feeding leads straight into GHL’s CRM and automated follow-ups, but it had clear limits:

  • Little SEO control: limited access to meta tags, schema markup and a blog, so it struggled to rank for searches such as dream job coaching
  • Hard to scale: new content such as blog posts or more testimonials required workarounds, and design was limited to GHL templates
  • Less flexibility on performance and on third-party integrations outside GHL

Wasim wanted to keep the high-converting lead engine while opening the site up to organic traffic from job seekers.

What we did

Discovery and planning

We crawled the original page to map every headline, image, call to action and content block. With Wasim, we identified the must-keep elements: the three-step framework (Personal Branding, Strategic Networking, Interview Prep), success stories such as Jonathan’s IT Director role landed in four weeks, and the book promotion section. Keyword research on phrases such as land dream job in 8 weeks and job search blueprint shaped a new structure with proper headings, internal links and review schema.

Design and development on WordPress

  • A lightweight theme customized with Elementor Pro, keeping the familiar single-page scroll and adding responsive breakpoints for mobile
  • All sections migrated: the Dream Job Blueprint hero, the three steps with optimized images and alt text, success stories with structured data, and testimonials and book endorsements with schema markup
  • Yoast SEO for XML sitemaps and meta descriptions, plus breadcrumb navigation and fast-loading fonts

Keeping the GoHighLevel workflow

We rebuilt the application form in Contact Form 7 with Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection and connected it to GHL through an API plugin. Each submission is validated in WordPress and then sent to GHL’s CRM, triggering the same automations as before, such as the welcome email and calendar booking invite, with tags and segmentation intact. We tested submissions, error handling and Google Analytics conversion events.

Hosting, optimization and launch

We hosted the site on WP Engine for built-in caching, a global CDN, daily backups, malware scanning and a staging environment. We added lazy loading, minified CSS and JavaScript, Wordfence and UpdraftPlus backups, checked Core Web Vitals, submitted the sitemap to Google Search Console, redirected the domain and monitored for 404 errors after launch. The whole project took about two weeks, with regular feedback from Wasim.
