Following up on the article from May 7th 2019 on Real Estate marketing, here is the case study for the Johnny Perez Team website.  Over the past month, we developed this website. We used some industry specific technology alongside marketing tools that are working with all types of businesses.

On February 14th 2018, Compass launched its San Diego branch, later on last year Compass bought out several independent brokerages in California making it the largest brokerage in the Bay Area amongst other areas. Compass was created in 2013 in New York City and is rapidly expanding throughout the country. Veteran broker associate Johnny Perez joined Compass and created a team of agents to work with.

Original meeting

When first meeting with Johnny, we developed a digital strategy. He was already working on his social media network presence, bought some domain names. The team did not have any website developer and had a meeting with us. After we examined his needs as well as evaluating competitors websites, we built an audit on what needed to be achieved. Technology is playing a big part in real estate these days. Being on top of your game to provide yourself and your agents tools that will allow them to be as efficient as possible. This is how we built the website.

When you look at the Compass branding identity, it’s very contemporary and monochromatic. This gives a high end demeanor to their whole image. For us to design an interface that was clear, simple and functional was a priority. Having a mobile friendly interface was also key are more and more, people will check websites and houses from location. Meaning they will be on their phones looking for references or surrounding listings while in a neighborhood.

Real Estate Specific Features

You are reading this and you are not a realtor, IDX is a tool that most realtors use. It’s a way to display MLS listings on a website. Over the years the technologies have really evolved and improved. Over ten years ago, when we started developing Real Estate websites, the offer was very slim compared to the demand.

Now there are a few IDX companies that work with different technologies. using WordPress as a real estate website is DEFINITELY a priority, as it gives you the powerful core of WordPress CMS (most popular CMS in the world with over 50% of the market shares) while being able to integrate IDX technology in it.
