First of All, managing your time efficiently is a priority. If you are looking for tips and courses on time management, I would recommend you to visit Timeflies.us – a friend of mine started that website full of helpful tips.

Confinement and Technology – Appointment Setting

Calendly

https://calendly.com/

This little tool is very practical, it allows your clients (and team members) to schedule meetings with you using this little web based calendar. You have multiple types of meetings available. In the case you are doing some consulting or coaching or any activity where you charge for segments of your time. You can tie it to a credit card payment processing service. People will be able to book meetings with you, pay for it in advance. It integrates seamlessly with your Ical so you don’t double book yourself.

Ical

Ical is included within Mac OS/iOS and your iPhone, and works in a very simple way. You can manage your calendar easily, invite guests to meetings. It communicates through iCloud, connects your contacts. Also it connects with Calendly above, which helps.

Confinement and Technology – Communications

Zoom

Everybody has been using Zoom to do virtual happy hours since the beginning of confinement. Now Zoom has been used for meetings between remote teams and clients for years. It allows you to communicate, through:

  • Audio Calls
  • Video calls (One on One)
  • Visio conference
  • Webinars
  • Screen Sharing (Computers and Phone)
  • Remonte Control

Teamviewer

https://teamviewer.com

We have been using Teamviewer to assist clients, and use it on a daily basis, it is very reliable when it comes to remote control, and works really well for “computer to computer” troubleshooting. Still the industry standard for technical support.

Anydesk

The Free for personal use alternative to Teamviewer. We used it for some time, then switched to TeamViewer for reliability issues at the time.

Confinement and Technology – Productivity

Google Drive

Using Cloud Based documents is definitely the way of handling productivity documents, spreadsheets, presentations. Much easier to collaborate with your team than to deal with software installed on your computer; It is cross platform as well. Google Docs now natively handles Word Documents, Google Sheets natively handles Excel files, and on top of everything else, it’s free. It also gives you 15Gb of storage for free, therefore not needing services that get you to pay for cloud storage.

Mailchimp

Mailchimp is the leader of the Email marketing solutions with over 66% of market share. While you are doing remote work you need to communicate with your clients efficiently. Email Marketing is the solution to reach directly your clients directly for direct mass communication. After all they are on their computers doing something, so they will check their emails.

Instacart
